Guest Artist Proposals for Visiting Artists’ Week
Calling all creators!
Visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, writers, performers and more…
Teach what you love! You get to design your own workshop for a small, multi-aged group of students. Over the course of three days, students will dive into a focused arts experience leading up to a brief school-wide share on the final day. We are actively seeking candidates from historically underrepresented groups. Equity and inclusion are fundamental to our mission.
Schedule for the Week
Preschool: Thursday 11:15 am-12:00 pm; Friday 11:15 am-12:00 pm + school-wide share 12:45 pm-1:45 pm
Kindergarten-1st grade: Wednesday, Thursday 10:30 am -12:00 pm; Friday 10:30 am-12:00 pm + school-wide share 12:45 pm-1:45 pm
2nd-8th grade: Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am-12:00 pm; Friday 8:30 am-12:00 pm + school-wide share 12:45 pm-1:45 pm
Compensation and Funding
Rate: $50/hr of contact time with students + $25 preparation stipend
Supplies: FSP provides additional funds for supplies
Lunch will be provided for all visiting artists on Friday, March 12.
