Attend Our Fall Open House

Save the Date for our Winter Open House: Sat., Jan. 9, 2027 - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Our Fall Open House is one of the best ways for families to learn about our school community, see our campus, and speak with teachers and current students. It is a wonderful chance to ask all of your questions and get a variety of perspectives and answers.

You can also use this time to explore our 23-acre wooded campus, including our outdoor forest classroom.

Join A Fall Virtual Info Session

Join us for a 45-minute Zoom information session to learn more about FSP’s culture of joyful learning. Each session is designed for a specific age group and will provide an overview of Friends School of Portland, our curriculum and approach to learning, and the admissions process, with plenty of time for questions and conversation.

Early Childhood Info Session (Preschool & Kindergarten)

For families considering preschool or kindergarten, this information session offers an opportunity to learn more about FSP’s early childhood program, including our Reggio-inspired, emergent curriculum; outdoor learning; daily schedule; specials in Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, and Stewardship Education; and Quaker values. We’ll also walk through the application process and leave plenty of time for questions and conversation.

Wednesday, Nov. 18 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

Elementary School Info Session (Grades 1-4)

For families considering grades 1–4, this information session will provide an overview of FSP’s elementary program, including the essential questions that guide our curriculum, our approach to academic rigor, and our commitment to outdoor-based learning. We’ll also share more about the daily schedule and specials in Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, and Stewardship Education. The application process will be covered, with plenty of time for questions and conversation.

Thursday, Nov. 19, 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Middle School Info Session (Grades 5-8)

The Middle School program is a highlight of the FSP experience. For families considering grades 5–8, this information session will provide an overview of FSP’s middle school program, including the essential questions that guide this curriculum, and our approach to academic rigor and student leadership. We’ll also share more about daily schedules, and specials in Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, and Stewardship Education. We’ll also discuss the transition to high school and walk through the application process, with plenty of time for questions and conversation.
