Multi-Age Support Teacher with AfterCare Role

Friends School of Portland is seeking a middle school and preschool classroom support teacher and AfterCare staff member who is experienced with children of all ages and is particularly excited to build relationships with our oldest (5th-8th grades) and youngest (preschool) students.  This role is Monday through Friday, and the hours each day may vary. Though we are clear that the role will go until 5 pm each day, start times will likely look different throughout the week. Cross Country Coach

Friends School of Portland is seeking a Head Coach for the Cross Country team. The cross country season begins on the first Wednesday of the 2026-27 school year and runs through mid-to-late October (approximately 6–7 weeks). For a full description, please see below. Substitute for Preschool - Grade 8, per diem

Do you have experience working with children and enjoy being part of a vibrant community? We seek per diem substitutes for grades preschool through 8, both in our classrooms and in art, physical education, and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in education or a related field and significant experience working with children in a group setting.
