In December, we held our annual "Life After FSP" evening. We experimented this year by hosting a small panel of students and inviting all our graduates in high school back to share about their experience in a fair-style Q&A. It was a lot of fun! We can't wait until next year!
Here are two sentiments shared by graduates:
I felt like I heard about how I was in this bubble at Friends School. And I thought that how could I find friends outside of this bubble of people I was connected with here? I wasn’t sure how I was going to make friends. And then, I started making friends and realized that I know how to find my people. Friends School helped me see people for who they are. And there are a lot of people to be friends with. But I haven’t forgotten about my Friends School friends.

Friends School does a good job of helping you cultivate curiosity. In high school, I have a bigger workload and have needed to improve my systems to help me stay organized. But I feel like what has helped me the most, when I think about my peers, is that I already figured out how to be curious and excited about learning. I learned that here.

A note that many graduates brought up that they loved Dareth's study skills. We are excited to share that long-time Spanish teacher and OT, Dareth, will be returning to lead a series of study skill sessions that focus on executive function and test prep starting in January for seventh and eighth-grade students!
