AfterSchool Actvities and AfterCare

AfterSchool Activities

AfterSchool Activities are offered in addition to our regular Aftercare program, which runs every day from 3:00 to 5:30pm.

We are all looking forward to providing a fun, safe, creative, and loving environment for your children to enjoy at the end of the school day. In addition to our AfterCare staff, specialists join throughout the year to offer additional programming like: Pasta Club, Printing Club, Makers Club, Computer Programming, Lego Club, and more. We are grateful for our parent and grandparent volunteers who pitch in to lead a club or activity, too. Parents are always welcome to share their time and passions with our students.

Most sign-ups will take place at school and will be located on the bulletin board near the school office. After an initial trial period, usually the first session, children and families will be expected to commit to the full term of the activity.

AfterCare

The AfterCare program is designed as an inclusive, child-centered time of play, self-discovery, and learning with supervision and guidance provided by the members of the AfterCare staff. It is an opportunity for children in preschool through eighth-grade to come together for a healthy snack and then to move outdoors for play and exploration. AfterCare is guided by the Quaker principles of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship. The AfterCare staff strives to meet the needs of each student while placing an emphasis on group awareness and harmony.
